Tracy - May 3rd, 2020

Tracy Partridge-Johnson was born in Salem, Oregon and now lives close to Portland, Oregon. As a child she fell in love with books, reading, and stories. Some of her favorites were by authors; Gertrude Chandler Warner, L. Frank Baum, Wilson Rawls, Beatrix Potter, Roald Dahl, E. B. White, Anne Alexander, and more.

Tracy recalls shoving a bath towel under her bedroom door at night, as a child, so she could stay up, immersed in stories, until the wee hours of the morning. She even read the back of shampoo bottles, while in the bathroom, to keep herself entertained! A self-described library-lover, Partridge-Johnson visited often, coming home with bags full of newly discovered treasures!

Tracy's Mom and DadThe daughter of an aeronautical engineer and a Mormon church organist, Tracy was raised with a deep appreciation for logic and spirituality, while also embracing a love for the magical and supernatural. These themes inevitably formed the background for her writing and story-telling career.

As a professional artist, Tracy focused most of her energy on a variety of creative endeavors (primarily pyrography, which is the official term for burning art and lettering onto wood or leather) before turning her attention to full-time writing. A person of many passions, Tracy is an entrepreneur and small business-owner, a world-traveler, video-gamer, health-nut, and foodie. She has three adult children and lives happily in a small town on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon with her best friend and life-partner, Jeff.
